Put yourself in our place. Joining Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts is fun, gratifying and makes a difference. We’re looking for enthusiastic and interested volunteers. There are plenty of positions available and we do our best to match your skills and talents to our opportunities. But, becoming a member also gives you a chance to learn new skills and expand your current abilities.
Like all community service, the rewards are often intangible, yet always gratifying. Membership provides different philanthropic opportunities and you will undoubtedly connect with one to your liking. Recently, a member was asked about the legendary commitment Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts members bring to the organization. She responded, “It is the personal stories about how the funds we raise impact the community so positively and dramatically – especially for the children – that energizes us to roll up our sleeves, work hard and pull together. It’s an honor to be part of this program and its legacy.” Members also develop new friendships and have new experiences.
Candidates for membership should have the ability to accept responsibility, fulfill commitments and work effectively with others.
Applicants must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Submit a completed online application form
- Participate in an interview
- Provide two references
Each reference must be willing to recommend the candidate in writing. References can be anyone who can verify the candidate’s experience, work ethic, integrity and commitment. As part of the application process, references will be contacted to confirm and/or expand on initial information provided.
