HAPPY 56th BIRTHDAY TO US
Our doors to the Pasadena Showcase House of Design first opened on March 21, 1965
Our very first house, a 1929 Florentine palazzo built by architect Edwin Westberg in San Marino, opened to the public on March 21, 1965. Tickets were $1.50.
56 years later, and pandemic aside, we are still going strong. Ticket sales from our 56 Showcase Houses have together raised more than $23 million for music and the arts through our Gifts & Grants program, Instrumental Competition, Music Mobile™, Youth Concert, and support of our longtime partner, the LA Philharmonic.
HELP CONTINUE OUR LEGACY
Celebrate with us by contributing $56
Like many nonprofit organizations, we’ve been devastated by the economic effects of the pandemic, but we remain committed to funding important nonprofit organizations throughout Southern California through our Gifts & Grants program. Your support is crucial to ensuring these organizations stay funded through these unprecedented times.
