Music and color have an immeasurable impact on our lives. From our earliest memories, the two have been intertwined—they move us through time and space; they move us through life. And for over 50 years, Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts and Dunn-Edwards Paints have been in harmony, creating moving experiences and lifelong memories for thousands across Southern California.
We are proud of our partnership in music and color and the impact it’s had on the lives of young people and their communities. To date, Pasadena Showcase has introduced 250,000 fourth graders to the symphony, brought the inspiration of music to over 125,000 third graders in the classroom, awarded over $650,000 in prize winnings to young musicians, and given over $23 million in gifts and grants to music and arts programs.
In spite of the unprecedented economic uncertainty of the past year, Pasadena Showcase has remained committed to supporting each of these music programs and just announced that $250,000 will be given to 57 nonprofit organizations. Learn more about the 2020/21 Gifts & Grants recipients.
