Staffing Requirements

Active Members:

  • Unless otherwise approved by the Board of Directors, members who joined PSHA prior to the 2022-2023 year, but who are not yet eligible for Associate status, shall staff twelve (12) pre-staffing or Showcase shifts and members who joined PSHA in the 2022-2023 year and thereafter shall staff ten (10) Showcase shifts;

  • Unless otherwise approved by the Board of Directors, members who joined PSHA prior to the 2022-2023 year, who are eligible for Associate status, but who choose to stay as Active members, change from Associate to Active status, or return to PSHA membership as Active members shall staff ten (10) Showcase shifts.

Business Members:

  • Unless otherwise approved by the Board of Directors, members who joined PSHA prior to the 2022-2023 year, but who are not yet eligible for Associate status, shall staff seven (7) pre-staffing or Showcase shifts and members who joined PSHA in the 2022-2023 year, and thereafter, shall staff six (6) Showcase shifts;
  • Unless otherwise approved by the Board of Directors, members who joined PSHA prior to the 2022-2023 year, who are eligible for Associate status, but who choose to stay as Business, return from Associate to Business status, or return to PSHA membership as Business members shall staff six (6) Showcase shifts

Provisional Members:

  • Shall staff ten (10) Showcase shifts. Five (5) shifts shall be House Staffings, unless otherwise approved by the Board of Directors.

Buy-­Outs

Members may buy out of her/his required staffings as follows:

  • Active members who joined PSHA prior to the 2022-2023 year may buy out of five (5) of their twelve (12) staffings; provided, however, if members are eligible for Associate status but choose Active status with ten (10) staffings, they may buy out of four (4) of their ten (10) staffings.
  • Active Members who joined PSHA in the 2022-2023 year or thereafter may buy out of four (4) of their ten (10) staffings.
  • Business members may buy out of three (3) staffings.
  • Provisional members may buy out of four (4) staffings.

Members wishing to buy out of their shifts should notify Lani Moore at [email protected] as soon as possible but a minimum of five days prior to the House opening, or the scheduled shift.

Payment of $50 per shift may be made by credit card under Products on the member section of our website at pasadenashowcase.org/product/ 
or by check made payable to PSHA and sent to Lani Moore, 5146 Earl Drive, La Canada, CA 91011.
